Sew What

ripped but not embossed
and knot yet tearing
embroidered not enamoured
nor armoured
it seams
i'm hem

i seam

a stitch in time staves mine
and wears it out
washed up and
   washed out
(obvious)
 washboarding and
  waterboarding
seam-stress was tailor made
to needle me
i'm clothes to unravelling
ripped but not embossed
i'm a frayed knot
afraid and not a brave
 (new whirled)
machine washed
just hem
and self absorbed
self waterboarded
drowning
 swimming with my close on
so ripped
torn apart
sew what?
(ashes patches
      we all sprawl down)
