Severed Ties and Lost Tongues I
When there's no one to talk to
Turn to or depend on when you need help
How is it possible to cope with your own mistakes?
Just to make them happy you come back when no one's home
To avoid the tears he sought you grit your teeth and bare through
The impossible comprehension of forced will and free thought lost at a
moment's notice
The vision, insane and pressing on to brain, conceived through fear and straight
disdain
It's unable to leave and too willing to stay
Scattered throughout lapsed time they stole your innocence
"I need you now more than ever...are you even listening?"
"I am dead to the world but crawling over bodies I hear you"
Sprouting new mind and free form the figure's white lace haunts your dreams
This I know for I've been there too
And with regret so strong suicide is so tempting
But the pull is too hard and unwilling
So sever his hands and burn the carcass
So he may never touch another with insanity and lunacy
Or simply let me loose from this leash and I'll deal my perversions of the truth
