Seventy Four Dang!

seventy-four
I figured I would be dead before I got this old
yet here I am

seventy-four, called for jury duty
guess what?
you can get out of it at seventy-five

the only seventy-four I ever used before
was on my speedometer as I passed everything
until I had to go to ninety-four to get the rest of them

seventy-four
yet I feel like I am twenty-six
seventy-four?
really?
Damn!
