Seven Merging Vows

Drifting across seven seas
               nascent hopes majestic lives,
             Undulating turquoise waves
            spill lilac pearls of twilight;
          Seven vows retreat to shore
       dissolve in our tides of love,
    like wet paper boats we merge.

This is just otherworldly in your imagery, Aditi, especially with the maritime metaphors, but I just love 'lilac pearls of twilight'. Beautiful poem ~ John

Thank you Jeinsh :) Though I am sure your paper boat once poured in poetry will sail through great oceans so go ahead and let it sail.
