Seven, Eight

Seven, Eight

There was a young boy
from North Devon,
Looked proud,
for he could count up to seven.
With a hearty well done,
I told him, that’s great,
But chuckled to myself,
cos, I can count up to eight.

It's not quite a limerick but great fun Kevin - if you ever refine it you could use heaven in the final line:-) hugs jan xx

To be honest Jan, I think I categorised it incorrectly. It ain't no limerick. Thanks for your comments, as always you are very supportive, kind regards, Kevin

hahaha, it is not quite in limerick form, but it sure is a funny one. On my last comment, I was confusing you with another poet who always does puns based on grammar terms. That's why I said the comment I said. But I really liked that poem no matter what.

Thanks for your comments Andrea, much appreciated .I think I categorised this poem as a Limerick incorrectly, I love a good Limerick of which this is not, just a silly rhyme, regards, Kevin x
