Setting Us Free

Sleeping with tears on my face
just trying to find a place
where I'll be at home
I don't want to roam
the world anymore
always lookin for
something that is gone
I tried to move on
but I can still feel you with me
I have to set your spirt free
like a bird from a cage
so I can turn the page
and start anew
in a life without you

as i read this poem a second time. it sure seems like it is mine. with words that i would express. with my so very very so recent death. but it may refer to the yet living. i stil cant help giving. my two cents for all that its worth. for i like you regret roaming this earth. T. S.

A touch of remorse mixed in with a million other emotions... such beautiful work.
