Set Me Free

I couldn't recognize you from far away,
I had to walk closer to see your face,
I stood in front of you and still could not see,
Until i looked into your eyes when you looked back at me,
When our eyes locked i knew it was you,
Your spirit, your soul, the man i once knew,
The outside appearance faded away,
Look into my eyes, and we will see face to face,
You have always looked deeper, look into my soul,
I have never left you...my love never grows old,
Dont look at the outside and assume you can see,
Look into my eyes...let my love set you free...

Cortney.. any guy who has ever stepped away from a gal, and had regrets, would dream of such as scene as the one you've painted. And let me say, there is nothing desirable missing from your picture. Love begins and is sustained in the eyes. I adore this write!
