Serving Temporality

Once her mission had been defined by divinity,

My immortal soul incarcerated was, within the

                                 Walls of here and now

                                              For

To serve temporality, under the watchful eyes of

Her warden- the vigilant time- till she is released

                                 From her mortal bonds,

                                               By

                                     Awaiting eternity!

- A wonderful poem, my dear friend Demetrios ! - In the eternal perspective is that one is able to love ...... it is perhaps the only glimpse we get of eternity :) - hugs //Anne-Lise :)

In the Greek mythology, my dearest Anne-Lise, when Zeus created the world he changed himself to Eros, the God of love, so he managed to bring harmony and as a result the world itself. St John tells us that God is love, therefore, following your thinking, what we get a glimpse of is, in the final analysis, God Himself through our ability to love! Love you!

Brilliant!! What a superb piece of poetry - I am mightily impressed!! I have to confess, Demetrios, until I googled it I had no idea what "Temporality" actually was or meant. I think this can be the answer to some of the problems posed in the "Meretrix Trials". My very best regards to you! :-) john

Happy New Year, John and thank you for your kind visit and gracious comment! I am happy that this little epigram may give some answers to your multiple questions of your Magnum Opus which I read this morning. For seven decades I try to give answers myself through my poetry and still the results are very poor. This is the lot of human wisdom my young friend!
