Serenity In the Storm

When the storms of life unsettle
And you are wont to fume and fret.
Let not winds and waves upset you,
depend on God to see you through.

While the angry waves were leaping,
Jesus in the bow was sleeping.
Now he bids you cease from weeping,
And to trust His faithful keeping.

You need not face life’s storms alone.
Christ for you in heaven atones.
After the storms by you have flown
Like sturdy oaks, you would have grown.
