Serenity

The wind blows through my hair The smell of pine in the air The breeze stirs the leaves to fall In the distance you hear the eagles call An acorn hidden as the chipmunks search for more In the distance you hear the water rushing to the shore Night approaches in the sky a billion little lights The snapping of campfires casting their light Footsteps as people walk Voices in a distance as campers talk Morning comes eyes awaken The smell of cooking eggs and bacon Calm water the morning fisherman's delight Children in the park flying a kite Pine scent and sandy shores Nothing like the great outdoors
