Serenity

Is it wrong to stop and think
To contemplate a move
Should life become impetuous
Do we have a point to prove.

Is speed and careless movement
An admirable trait
Must we gallop to a decision
And wind up in a state.

I implore you to be serene
Stay calm and take your time
A moments pause for thought
Brings thoughts that are sublime.

Confidence envelops you
Maturity will show
Life becomes much easier
Tranquillity the status quo.
