Serenity

It seems I crave an endless search,
for the serenity I had at birth.
Accepting things I can not change,
though my whole existence prearranged.
Courage to change the things I can,
mean stepping up and be a man.
Wisdom to know the difference,
comes 1 day at a time.
Only through my Higher Power,
will this trusted servant shine.
So by your guidance grant me,
for my requests are but few.
Take my will and my life,
i'll do my best for you.

Great testimony of your faith and your turning your all over to your Higher Power...This first and second line kinda seem in opposition the the final lines or maybe it is a resolution that you have come to..Glad that I chose this one to read today...Sara
