serenE timeS

Remember the quietude inside? Is it lukewarm from the bitter outside?
Now, the chaos takes over
Understand that you’re not alone and there’s nowhere to truly hide
Just turn over another clover

Let me let you know
That I must go away soon, my dearest love of mine
You reap what you sow
Maybe, I’ll be back by this afternoon in the sun so fine

Remember the serene times spent on us?
Mourning comes and goes, comes and goes
Remember we were just kids on each other’s bus?
Forlorning over you for so long, who knows
Born to die it seems, falling at the seams
We were young and happy back then
Broken down by nightmares and dreams
We belong in the arms of angels again

Remember December’s frost on our hands?
Somehow, tears collide
We’re on for the ride wherever this plane may land
Somehow, frozen inside

Let me let you know
That I must go away soon, my dearest love of mine
You reap what you sow
Maybe, I’ll be back by this afternoon in the sun so fine

Remember the serene times spent on us?
Mourning comes and goes, comes and goes
Remember we were just kids on each other’s bus?
Forlorning over you for so long, who knows
Born to die it seems, falling at the seams
We were young and happy back then
Broken down by nightmares and dreams
We belong in the arms of angels again

Remember the summers in the sunshine?
Remember the evenings in autumn divine?
Remember the winters warm and cozy?
Remember the spring when we were free?

There’s nowhere to hide
This broken-up pride…inside…
Now, the chaos takes over
Just turn over another clover
Remember us in serene times? Serene times…
Lost in the chaos of the bitter times sometimes
Nowadays, we are lost
Take my heart at all cost…
