Serene Slumber

This elgiac chant possessing my serene slumber is ceaseless this constellation of lovely sounds an ethereal song and endless sum of notes so infinite and timeless within my serene slumber my trance they dance on an astral plane that shifts and transforms into a scene of serenity ebbing into my sedation such a bliss is this jubilance such a divinely kind deity which dances and prances gaily in my darkness in my dreams such whispers such chants oh this melody from an ethereal ruler of the night of the universe softly echoing all the notes in their reverie plays in my slumber delights in my dormancy softly echoing in my rest ruling me in rapture majestic and resplendent. I agree with Eve this is lovely in flow. I rarely have this kind of slumber time. My dreams are all so odd but also entertaining! Well, I am listening to the music now, and I can tell you are more describing the experience of enjoying this calming music. I think you must be a meditative type of person, as are others I have met here at Soup! I just have stuff like Taylor Swift stuff repeating in my mind at night! (not much that says about ME)

You were correct initially: I was describing a dream state I was in; however, because of Eve's comment, I thought I would add the music to it and it seemed to fit the language. Thank you for your thoughtful comments.

Rob, lovely write with great flow. I am not one to really give criticism, since sometimes I don't know what your are trying to say.. in this verse ( as I went to listen to the elegiac chant) Peaceful music would take me away to dreamlike place if I would put myself in. I have not bought your book, but if it's like your poems it would be enjoyable to read.
