Serene Absence
These moments evermore
Please my endless core
And indulge dismal desires
In the sacred, blissful fires.
I’ll one day touch the stars
Where Libra meets Mars;
While I lay in serene absence,
Spare me before I commence.
Deep in the rivalrous dawn
Where the sun doth rise,
I draw my selfless pawn
As my faint heart dies.
I'll journey to the unknown,
Digging past winter’s bone,
Where the secrets lie in wait,
And my soul can liberate.
And though it may falter,
I'll summon my inner altar;
In the rivalrous dawn's embrace,
I'll find solace in my grace.
So spare me before I commence
On my quest for a new sense,
For I know what lies ahead,
With every tear, I'll shed.
Sacred desires hold me, bound,
To blissful fires within the ground;
And please my endless core
In these moments, forevermore.
