This has happened in my life . Once I lost my way as a child and happened to stray away into a woody side of our own large compound with bushes and creepers. Then came across some wild black berries. It was something of great excitement for me. Well done Andrea.

Andrea, Ahh!! Great find and I hope you enjoyed. I don't know what kind of berries are ripe but all of them are good. I have noticed that there are several of these poems about serendipity so there must be a contest, if so, this one reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. Sara K

The poem is just for any kind of berries one might find growing for free. For me it would be raspberries.
