Seraph
My heart was alight when I got your card.
A note that announced you were flying.
You were taking a chance and
stepping out into the light.
Your wings held up I assure you,
by His mighty hand.
You deserve the very best of everything.
You have done such great works for so many.
I want to tell you this clearly, so that you will be sure.
Do not write off one moment of the time that you spent.
It was worth while,
and made changes to endlessly, numerous, “un-countable’s,”
those that have no voice now or may never,
those that needed and relied on an angel…sent from Him.
Grace.
Your name and His will,
a perfect and wondrous plan for your life.
Everyone is not a number, you made that clear.
All had a face, and were important.
I know why “He” made you…
who you are…
even if you are sometimes sweetly unsure.
The gentlest voice in the storm,
ever saying prayers beneath your breath…
Clearly the purpose of your aim,
is the value of the passage.
The lesson;
Grace for the journey.
Jesus the destination.
