September's Flowers

September's Flowers

September’s flowers are full of growth,
s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g skyward to grasp the
last rays of the summer sun
before they, like leaves, will wither and die.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Dear Beata, Thank you for welcoming me to Poetry Soup, and for your kind words. The Bible quote, John 3:16, has been one of my favorites since I was a child. Be well.
