September 11 - On This Day
On this day, we were attacked;
On this day, we were mobbed;
On this day, our freedom was tested;
On this day, we all sobbed.
On this day, we all stood still;
On this day, we all held each other;
On this day, our lives were changed;
On this day, we tried to save our brother.
On this day, we all said a prayer;
On this day, we all hoped for the best;
On this day, our faith was strengthened;
On this day, we laid the brave to rest.
On this day, we will pause for our nation;
On this day, we will never break;
On this day, our country is united;
On this day, we stand for freedom's sake.
