Sepia Dream

Her sepia seeps into my secluded dreams
and I lick the longing off her skin
a sensation appeasingly smooth and free
like the flashing of the headlights of the night
lit up as if thousand shooting stars
shining brightly through her eyes
as my fingers trace her sky
a most delicate and delightful high
and I'm high
although very much afraid
for if we get too close
it might hurt if we break apart

You should write more and post whenever you like. I post two poems a week mostly. I loved your imagery. Dream on my friend.

Dear Ts, your "secluded dreams" bare your heart and soul so beautifully and poetically. I was especially struck by "my fingers trace her sky/a most delicate and delightful high/and I'm high" .. a stunning string of imagery. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
