Separation
Some how when you left
I knew you were not returning now
I knew I was again bereft
Like other times before. Your vow
Was left behind this time
On a stone that says "believe"
I have a new paradigm
For everything I grieve.
There is an ego centered claim
You make, a mask for inner fault
And yet I love you just the same
My words shall keep their vault
For ever you chose this way
To go, forever I am alone
And flinch not from the brunt of day
And memory upon a stone.
You would leave if you come again
But you are nothing like the rain
