on rocky coastlines stand historic lighthouses beacons of safety protectors of ships their lights shine far out to sea upon granite shores keeping watch each night sentinels stand on duty making safe the way

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Tania. It's an old painting and the right side of it was ruined in Hurricane Katrina, but I couldn't bring myself to trash it.
