Thanks for your kind thoughts, Tania. It's an old painting and the right side of it was ruined in Hurricane Katrina, but I couldn't bring myself to trash it.

Dear Lin, your poem beautifully captures the timeless allure of lighthouses standing steadfast against the elements. Each line is filled with the solemn duty of these beacons, guardians of sailors navigating treacherous waters. As I read, I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for their enduring presence, standing as symbols of hope and safety. Thank you for showing us of the silent strength and perseverance embodied by these majestic structures.- Blessings, Daniel

I've painted several that are real, but I'd love to visit them along the east coast someday. Thanks for you usual insightful and complimentary remarks, Daniel.

enjoyed the imagery of a lighthouse as a sentinel. Your poem brought to mind the historical lighthouses I saw a few years ago while vacationing in Cape Cod. They did stand like sentinels guarding the shores. A lovely Senyru. Plus I liked the painting you used to illustrate your poem. What a lovely book that would be--one that included your poems with your paintings as illustrations. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Have a pleasant evening, hugs, Sara

A book of paintings with poems written specifically for them... thank you for thinking it would be appealing. I'd have to get busy painting lots more canvases. LOL Seriously, Sara... you're too kind with your thoughts. Hugs, sweet friend.

They've saved many lives over the years Lin, once they were manned but now many are automated, progress I suppose. Your artwork is amazing. Tom
