Sensory

Senses I feel Show me the way: Now fond appeal Toys with new day. Each feeling wave Casts a new light: To dare, to brave, To glimpse bold sights. I walk life's road With fragrant style, With easy load, With carefree smiles. Burdens I drop As I now see Stormy days stop -- Peace comes to free. Senses I know Limit true sight; Grace transcends flow To higher light. I learn to know Beyond learning: A certain glow Uplifts seeing. Now, time and space Mask the real thing; Beyond this face, Lies true being. Sensory plays Veil spirit-soul; No words can say Or frame true whole. And in the end, We go around Life's bends and trends Till lost is found. Leon Enriquez Written: 17 February 2010 Singapore (16 May 2017)
