Sensitivity

There is a certain sad quality
To the overwhelming sensitivity
With which offers much reality
Of course then subsequently
Causing hurt feelings with cruelty
Emitting out such animousity
Against a soul with such frailty
Will cause a certain casualty
With winners left behind spiritually
Cold as a stone internally
And blind as a bat visually
While the fragile soul will soar endlessly
Far, far away from all the negativity

very nice, Scarlett, the 'ly is a great rhyming sound in English! And it goes so nicely with 'ty too. I love the rhymes of English that are most versatile! Luv, andrea

Smile, how wonderful and creative and lovely this verse is! It is always a pleasure to find a poet or poetess whom wields such a commanding and pretty pen! I see a glimpse of perhaps, much talent within this writer here dear lady and, I love the introspect and wisdom that find...."Have A Very Bright & Lovely Day, Dear Lady, Wrapped In Warmth & Love," John!" ~ "Bye":)

Sensitivity can be a good thing at times, but it also opens the door to a lot of pain. Perhaps that is why so many artists take their own lives. Compelling monorhyme, Scarlett, one of my favorite forms. This one goes to my favorites! Love, Carolyn
