Senseless Words

my fingers
roaming
like my mind
tenderly
stroking
thoughts
through keys
but making
no sense
beneath
the trembling

perhaps
they'd
rather be
pressing
against
the edges
of you

Sandra, this poem lingers like the tormented touch of separations angst.

There are never any senseless words that come from your pen my friend. This made perfect sense and my heart understood every word. Beautifully done Sandy.

Words that spring from the heart have meaning in themselves that the mind would take time to understand. Intriguing beautiful poem dear, Sandra.
