Senior Year
(In memory of Frankie Abercrombie)
Back to School, your
last year
Same ole stuff, but
fresh, New gear
With a promising future
that is clear
Dressed for the Prom like
a Cavalier
Standing next to a girlie, you
hold So dear
Grinning and posing, your heart
full of cheer
Like your Family, at graduation,
being near
So proud, until They almost shed
a tear
Watching you in the Formal, looking
all debonair
Especially grandma, who in the Spirit,
would appear
And, it has got you smiling, from ear-to
ear
As you're congratulated by friends with
a can of beer
Showing No signs of you becoming a
living nightmare
That's how it would be, if you were still
here
