Senior Moment

I’m sorry to have troubled you
So early in the day.
I meant you no harm
Just had something to say.

I surely should have known
You’d still have closed eyes.
How was I to know
That not all are early to rise?

Now that you’re awake,
Half way through the day,
I sadly can’t remember
What I had to say.

Poignant write this! It makes one reflect on the challenges that comes with age. Nicely done!
