Senior Days
Days as a senior satisfying and fulfilling,
What will we do for an encore.
The younger person thinking who are you,
How dare you have friends.
We have proved that we could have friends,
We could even get married again.
Now and then you have someone that you don't get along with,
They gossip behind your back and are unkind.
i avoid those kind of persons,
God has you getting along with all kinds of neighbors.
You have accomplished much as a senior,
I am truly thankful for God's miracles.
I always say what will I do as an encore,
A Poet and Artist with her own art exhibit
Played the piano for the birthdays,
Developed a repertoire of classical and popular music.
Senior days a blessing from God,
I am truly thankful to the Lord.
