Send Up Your Prayers

Maybe your prayer could give him 
A reason for living
Maybe your prayer could stop 
The thief from stealing

Maybe your prayer could encourage
The addict to put down the crack
Maybe your prayer could of hindered 
The 9/11 attack

Maybe your prayer could stop
The teenager from running wild
Maybe your prayer could help her
To deal with the lost of her child

But how would you know if you never pray?
You would never know how it could affect
Yesterday or today
