Send Me To the Principal

I dread seeing this child on my watch.
He is belligerent and mean.
He yells at me.
He is totally disrespectful.
He yells in my face “send me to the principal!”
Obviously that is the last place I would send him now.

I knew a 5th grader, when I put him in time out would cling to the table and one time told me sometimes he thought about killing his mother. He was “that kid” that let a snake out from the science room. Still the school did what they could for him (both his parents were horrible) and on the last day he hugged me so tight. Oh my, these poor children without a role model!
