Send a Taxi for Me
I must have missed the stop as I kept looking at the people sitting at the back. They had board the train with me and the got off before the train cross the bridge that leads to the sea. I must have dozed off a bit for the train was parachuting through the dark; there was no light in the tunnel except for a vigil shining in the heaven with candles in hands and water flowing through the sand, and the stars surround the sea making music with me.
I have missed my first date, for no one was standing at the gate, I walked up and down the terminal but no one was there and my heart began to fear. The black pitched night stood like a giant in front of me, as I search for my date at the boarding gate. I was more than five hours late for everyone was gone and I was wandering up and down the open space all alone .
My phone battery had died down and I could not find my way home, the train had gone another way and it was obvious that I had lost my way. It was the calmness in me that kept me on the track, until I could maneuver my way back to the sea.
There was no sign of life except me and the blackness of the night wrapping its arms around me, choking me. Its tailor made suit with stained whisky reminds me of the vulnerable days of my youth. I couldn’t stand the smell and so I wait and I wait for someone to come and get me out of hell but no met me at the gate.
Sometimes you find your self-way out in space in the middle of the night and only the stars you have to give you some light. But when the moon comes out, your heart began to shout and all of a sudden a ladder appears from out of nowhere to take you up to the stairs , but you don’t have a choice but to step on the ladder and hold your breath and walk with gravity strapped to your chest.
It is the dynasty in my dream that keeps walking around with me on the sunlit sand. The old house that is stuck in its track that keeps bellowing from the back has finally takes it leaves from the old bed for heaven is raised from the dead.
Send a taxi for me and clear the garbage from the sea; send a taxi for me so that I can be free, clear the space around you and the universe will hear you. There is too much clutter in your soul and you must make that move before your bod gets old. The doves have lined out on the limb waiting for the trees to sing but all the branches are broken and heavens weeps for its crown as the wind bring the mountain down.
Send a taxi for me and set my spirit free. There is no silence at night and the days are filled with fights. You track me down everywhere I go when I try to exit the show. My date has come and gone and has left me furlong on the overgrown lawn.
Flowers bloom in spring as we get ready to sing the summer hymn. Winter has finally gone and spring is weeping on the lawn. Summer is knocking on my door and beach lover has stormed the shore. I have transition into a brand new world one that compels you to feed the birds, my date has taken the bait so send me a taxi before it too late meet me at the gate at three and solve this aged long mystery.
