Self-Reflection At Night

Walking through this star-lit grove
taking in the sights.
Find a spot to rest my head
and speak up to the night.

Tell her of my hopes and dreams;
My wishes; My desires.
Tell her whispered secrets spoken
slow while they transpire.

Speak to her and listen close,
her breeze will whisper back.
A breath of wind lulls me to sleep
as starlight fades to black.

Awake unto the light of dawn
and find your night time love has gone
Only to return again
when the Sun ceases to call upon
Today.
