Selfish Left Behind
Frantic searches ad 911 calls
Turns into freezer meals and banquet halls
But how selfish is it of us to feast and fill our plate
All because a man chose his own fate.
But who am i to speak
On and on about hypocrisy
For as we question him and his fate,
Mine only stands and waits.
"I was depressed once" is a reoccurring theme.
"Weak and silent", "stayed to himself"
Don't you people realize that's a cry for help?
There a girl in the corner who doesn't speak
And a boy on the bench who no longer eats
But you don't realize the face of the dead
For you're too stuck within your own head.
