Selfish and Foolish

I want to grow old if I can
Though this is the plan
Chance takes the final turn
Fate has the master pen

I have it, I live to fulfil one
A purpose, a reason for being
Though it’s shrouded in
I know I can find it within

I wish to be a complete man
A father who loves his children
A hero to them like Superman
The voice of comfort to my woman

I feel like Adam in the garden of Eden
Fortified with ribs up to my bellybutton
Physically strong, but all alone
My eve, I need you my queen!

Prepare my return
From a selfish man
I disown this fake clone
Who had me foolish like a clown
