Self-Existent Light
Soul’s self-existent light,
that’s made in God’s image
is veiled by our ego,
which by slowing thought flow,
we can here now forgo.
Soul’s self-existent light,
is what we truly are
but if we wish to see,
surrender paves the way,
that head and heart agree.
Soul’s self-existent light,
glistening like the dew,
glows in our heart centre,
where we can feel bliss beats,
urging us to enter.
Soul’s self-existent light,
borrowing God’s power,
pulsates by day and night
and pure of heart can feel
the Holy Spirit’s might.
