Self-Elusive

Have you ever thought?
I am alone
Far from ones self sitting as a stone
One in a trillion
But are your really alone?
Think of the clock its ticks and sitting alone
And chimes strangely in your home
Then you say I am truly on my own
No one to call on me
Far from a touch and a plea
No you’re not really alone
Your mind has called on you, a companion
A talking tone
It takes on personalities
And conversations that groan
Alone you say
Think of the speck dust
Floating invisibly by a quiet in gust
No true object is really exclusive
So my thoughts on this matter are really inconclusive
