Self Forgiveness

Phantoms haunt our unseeing eyes
Shadows left to spite and hide
Echos of wrong...
Regrets held strong
Prayers of peace left unheard
Darkness ends but from a word
Keys we hold to unlock our pain
To forgive the Self is best and gain.
