Self Courage...

so you are still on the fence,
like a constipated pigeon, (dove)?
with a death grip,

you've gathered so many splinters
you cannot tell the wood from the
s#@t,

don't just nod politely,
with audience you carry, this
uncertainty

don't insult my intelligence,
jump in anytime, bring your opinion
feel free, leave your crippled
self denial,

why do you feel so trapped,
you have flown 360 degrees,

bail if it's crap, your faith, your
instincts, you are different, your
knowledge is from the womb-

your life, your love not a pipe dream
to share your feelings with someone
in something to believe

it is a woman that will speak out for
or against you-

this domestic shadow follows
don't capitalize all your tomorrows
life our days are but a few,

when you arrive at your destination
clutching a ticket from regret...

...who will you blame?...

...a con so lation, from this you call
self respect,

No! we will call this shame, the
label correct-

...you deprive your courage...
...you deprive your spirit...

some things, in life are hard to do
it is here, we find out who we are?

do not give up the search, for your
beacon, your star...this is your perch

to search to find, to find and have lost...
for most of us must carry on...

this loss, can be recovered...if we will
it, it can be found,

a compelling flame, found deep within,
hope, desire let the search begin
