Notes About The Poem

Welcome to day 8 of 11 days of limericks. In addition to the cartoon, I've included two additional photos from the demonstration this past Saturday. I also added a relevant video clip. A larger demonstration takes place today, and I'll post more photos tomorrow.

James Q. Wilson (a conservative scholar) lists four personality traits which make democracy possible. These include fairness, self-control, honor, and empathy. I'd say D.T. and many on his staff have none of these, though the following limerick concerns only one:

I would not want to be in the same room with Mr. Miller who looks like he belongs in a bunker next to Hitler.

RFK Jr. also has no honor, self-control, fairness, or empathy.

self control

From fast food Trump chooses to eat
Congestive heart failure’s his treat
We’ll wince as this slob
Grows more like the blob
With gross swollen ankles and feet
