Self Care

Self care

Self care
When no one else is there
How can you expect
For someone else to care
When you personally neglect
Where is the respect
The boundaries
Where is the love
Deep down in me
It's like a set a keys
You usually have a spare
To fit and if it doesn't fit don't quit
Hello can you hear me
Are you still there
Let me bring you
Into self care

Caring about yourself
Gives you a different kind of wealth
Self care does you good
Makes you understand things about you never understood

Something's you never knew
Until you came the better version of you
You stop stressing
Started counting your blessings
You cared for yourself
Didn't care about the opinions of someone else
You washed your hands
Along with the weight of the world
Controlled your mental
And when you start talking the wrong way sent you to dental
They sent you back
Said you had to get your mind on track
People had your back
You had to have your own
You see that's what made you strong

Caring about yourself
Gives you a different kind of wealth
Self care does you good
Makes you understand things about you never understood

Self care
Self love
Got to thank
The man above
(Repeat 1x)

Caring about yourself
Gives you a different kind of wealth
Self care does you good
Makes you understand things about you never understood

(Repeat until chorus fades)
