Seizures

Sweet seizures,
I get them these days,
Come awake,
In a foggy haze...

Just drop to the floor,
Sometimes unaware
Save for bruises
and an overturned chair

Can't drive no more,
Too dangerous,
For sure
Just go on my way
With pain every day

Only Soup and music
Distract my pain
And suddenly,
I'm me again

So thank you,
Dear Soupers,
Such treasured friends,
I hope I amuse you,
Cause it's love that mends

And I get plenty,
Right here,
On this marvelous site,
Although, at times,
It keeps me up all night..

Thank you Poetry Soup Management
You serve the world well
This you can say
Was a quote from Tom Bell.
