Seize the Moment
The water crashed against the shores of endless time
Carpe Diem seize the day my sweet Leuconoe
peel back your need for tasted wine
seize the this moment now, it is your time
you cannot know, what future song to sing
you cannot know, what future God will bring
Today, this day, this moment here and now
Carpe Deim, seize the day, make this moment great
Do not let, your time slip by unused
do not ask, how long we have to live
that knowledge is a gift we do not get
For God comes as a thief in unknown hours
Build your dreams today and let them grow
do not waste a precious hour of life
you cannot know tomorrow will be there
today this moment now you see and hear.
do not wait for days that might not come
but rather make the most of here and now
our future can be lost to wasted days
do not let this moment slip away.
