Seeking Solace
There isn't a day goes by
I haven't a thought in my mind
So much in question, much so to deny
If not solace... might I one day find
Shall I know, if I knew
That of which, those of clear
Memories old to remember new
Did I unlearn to endear?
A lesser more returns to follow
Forbidding the soul to the being
Shadows from a stranger to only borrow
Might I only walk this world a dream
And I see the thoughts of a stranger
From another who follows closely
Have I an everyday to only feel lesser
From this world to only know barely
There isn't a night goes by
When a thought belongs to the mind
Without reasons, do I deny?
For solace... I might one day find
