Notes About The Poem

Seeking Safety

A mirror of things he'll never share. Shapeless shadows. A wandering thunderstorm This emptiness can pass. Despite his affluent life, he fasts. He is safe but helpless. He becomes nothing again. Grace means gracious acceptance. If only I could have my way. Normally, I would have slipped away. Our Milky Way galaxy Take me away from this planet. where I may seek a park for our children. Where the sun of peace beams every day No weapons to start a battle or fray. A simple space for love to multiply.

He is safe but helpless. He becomes nothing again. Grace means gracious acceptance. It's like you were reading my mind when you wrote this! A depth of you that I have not clearly seen but very much enjoy. Inspirationally penned! Highest regards A.S.
