Seeking Contentment For Evermore
Throughout the daily strifes of life
so much attacks us to pull us down
we need a remedy to hold it off
something that makes us top crown
It's such an important lesson to learn
to simply lie loose to all such things
remind yourself it'll all pass away
concentrate on what contentment brings
Be at peace truly with yourself
let nothing move you from this condition
for what now looks so important
will pass away to your satisfaction
Focus on the future eternal world
when this earth we know will pass away
then God in Christ will renew all things
for this eternal home will come to stay
So be content in all these things
know there's better yet to come
fill yourself with God's perfect peace
while this world beats it's foolish drum
(My Motto in life is 'be content in all things')
