Seeking Answer

Mindless insecurities of the restless mind,
Tangled threads of boredom wanting to unwind;
Lost is the vigor & life is far behind-
Large looms the gaping question..
Has he (god) been kind?

Fulfilling numerous wishes is a distant dream,
Desires turned to bleak hope; shallow & grim.
Chances of survival and a re-bounce are slim;
Large looms the gaping question...
Did I have far too many whim(s)?

Far from above, I tower over my past,
Oh boy!! haven't I lived it quite too fast?
Standing up against the light;
Staring at the shadows it casts
The image is far-fetched from the one i saw last,
Yet again..
large looms the gaping question..........

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
