Seek shelter

Enslaved by ego, we are bound,
fears and desires twirl us around
and the joy we seek seems distant,
for we walk not on holy ground.

Why oh why, are we resistant,
to inner light, self-existent,
so to find out, we shift to heart
that our actions be consistent.

Heart requires we add love to cart,
enabling bliss rapture to start,
so we seek shelter in the void,
deeming all souls one, none apart.

Thus with dark delusion destroyed,
no longer by ego cravings toyed,
aligning with the universe,
mind of God is by us employed.

In stream of love, heart we immerse,
that bliss borne magnetism may nurse
wounds of our past, which as yet bleed,
ending at last, ego spawned curse.

Our heart abode lets bliss beats lead,
in staid calm, with no need for speed,
enabling our soul to ascend,
by doing daily, one good deed.
