Seek Peace

Let a troubled world search for peace
Where neighbours stand beside
Holding hands with loving thought
Where no children have to hide

Let the rain of fire be cooled this day
And sirens are still in sound
For words to stem the threat of war
In loving sentence found

For this earth is loaned to us
To nurture and protect
Not flatten and bring to ash
But rise and to respect

Let the news rejoice around the world
That peace has victor be
There is hope for a brighter day
And a future for you and me!
