Seeing You

I see you and I know
there is magic in your eyes
a quiet calm about you
no room for telling lies

i care about the future
and your place next to the fire
i ve left the rest to fate itself
i have come to face desire

the hearth grows cold,
as embers die
you next to me in our chair
A story told
i turned to cry
will i ever make it there?
