SEED OF FEAR
I was very fond of my Grandma
who was a nice story teller
cum an expert tailor..
She was always nice to me,
never rude,
All my dresses in my childhood
were stiched by her with wonderful skill.
She made red frock and red cap
for my fifth birthday
and bought red socks and red shoes.
She kissed to my forehead
and told " Dear you are looking so pretty
like Red Riding Hood '
She began to narrate the story of Red Riding Hood.
The start of the story was too good
touching my heart.
I was listening in cheerful mood.
Little Red Riding Hood was going
to visit her grandma .
I was eager to follow putting myself
in place of Red Riding Hood.
She met the wolf
in guise of Grandma.
At the end as wolf
in its form howled -
seed of fear is sown.
Suddenly I became scared of my Grandma
and shouted.
